Challange

Today's digital travel content is heavily stylized and optimized for tourism, often giving a distorted picture of a destination. Existing platforms focus on influencers, trends, or scattered inspiration rather than the true, everyday face of a city. There is a growing need among travelers to discover the authentic atmosphere and "visual textures" of places, rather than just classic tourist spots.

Solution

I designed Eartale, a location-based visual archive that allows users to explore the world as curious observers. The platform organizes authentic, unfiltered images and videos by cities and themes, highlighting the beauty in everyday details. To keep the focus on the content, I created a visual identity using a clean, grotesque typography and a natural color palette.
